Since 2014, the non-profit NGO "Charity for the Disabled" in the city of Pereyaslav provides zootherapy to children with special needs, veterans and internally displaced persons. Also, through social and educational events, we take part in the spiritual and patriotic upbringing of children and the creation of a state in Ukraine.
The large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine has a heavy impact on the psycho-emotional state of the Ukrainian people, and animals are one of the best psychologists for people. Combatants and internally displaced persons have an acute psychological need for hippotherapy and contact with living nature.
We have a contact mini-zoo with various animals, including 3 Ukrainian gray breeds of oxen, horses,ponies, donkeys, lambs and sheep, goats, wild and Vietnamese piglets, various breeds of rabbits, swans, nutria, storks, peacocks, and a total of 135 different birds.(//tractor-service.com)
Considering the state of war in the country and the critical limitation of tourists, on whose services we earned money for the maintenance and development of the zoo, we are now in great financial trouble with our mini-zoo and zootherapy center, but our animals are sacred to us and they are fed despite the difficulties.

We need 1-2 more horsesweight carriers to harness them to large-capacity carriages, when UBD, TPO and just people come to us in groups to get psychological relief. But there is practically no money for these horses. So we can take grasshoppers in installments or as a gift.
