Mechanism of action of Imamex:
absorbed by the roots and above-ground part of weeds, moves through phloem and xylem, accumulating in meristematic areas. Acts as an inhibitor of the enzyme acetolactate synthase (ALS), which leads to a decrease in the concentration of amino acids - valine, leucine and isoleucine - in plant tissues, with subsequent disruption of protein and nucleic acid synthesis. The growth of sensitive weeds stops within a few hours after treatment.
Features of application The highest effectiveness is manifested in the early stages of the development of weeds: dicots up to 4 true leaves, grasses up to 3 leaves; the optimal temperature during application is +15... +25 °C, the wind speed is no more than 3-4 m/s; Imamex is highly effective against downy mildew in sunflower crops resistant to imidozalinones; with timely and correct application, one treatment per growing season is enough; it is prohibited to use with organophosphorus insecticides.
