Rubber products, Dnipropetrovsk region.

Rubber technical products (RTI) are various articles, products that are made of rubber and are used in various industries. Almost all general and special purpose rubbers are used for the production of RTI. Molded RTI is an extensive group (about 30,000 items) of gasket, sealing, and shock-absorbing parts (seals, rings of various cross-sections, dust-, moisture-, and oil-proof caps, rubber-metal shock absorbers, etc.). These RTIs are obtained by forming a rubber mixture simultaneously with its vulcanization in a mold installed on a press or by a pressure casting method.

The non-shaped RTI group includes products (about 12,000 items), used mainly for sealing windows and doors of cars, airplanes, railway cars, for sealing the joints of building panels, etc. They are made in the form of profiled bundles of various lengths and cross-sections by extrusion of a rubber mixture and subsequentvulcanization of the semi-finished product in continuous-action devices or in boilers (periodic method). Sealers can be both monolithic and porous.
