Polyethylene rod, Dnipropetrovsk region.

Polyethylene is a thermoplastic polymer of ethylene, the most common plastic in the world. Polyethylene is an organic compound formed by polymerization of ethylene.
It is a thick wax-like mass of white color, but, for example, thin sheets of polyethylene are transparent and have no color. It is resistant to aggressive chemical influences as well as to the effects of frost, is plastic, has excellent cushioning (not sensitive to impact). Heating to 80-120 C leads to softening of polyethylene, but upon cooling it hardens.
Made of polyethylene:
•Container (jars, boxes, pots for seedlings etc.)
• Polyethylene film (any packaging film, tape)
• Pipes for drainage systems, sewage and water and gas supply(//tractor-service.com)
• High-voltage and low-voltage wires (good electrical insulation material)
• Armor (body armor and armor panels)
• Geotextile
• Medicine (manufacture of cartilage and joints)
