Herbicide Argument Nertus
A non-selective systemic herbicide for the destruction of annual and perennial grass and dicot weeds. It is used as a desiccant of agricultural crops.
Active substance: isopropylamine salt of glyphosate, 480 g/l; in acid equivalent, 360 g/l
Mode of action: systemic
Drug form: aqueous solution.
Manufacturer: Nertus, Hungary,
Tare unit: 20 l, the price is indicated for 1 l.
What are the advantages of herbicide Argument:
Thanks to its systemic effect, the drug destroys not only the aerial part of plants, but also their root system.
Enables effective control of both annual and perennial weeds in fields intended for sowing.
Systemic use of the drug allows you to significantly reduce the general clogging of the field and, as a result, to minimize mechanical tillage.
The use of the drug as a
desiccant allows to reduce crop losses due to the spread of diseases and the influence of adverse weather conditions, to a large extent save fuel for harvesting.
The mechanism of action of the herbicide Argument
The active substance is absorbed by the aerial part of the plant and is carried by all organs, disrupting the processes of protein synthesis. Blocking photosynthesis and respiration in plants leads to their complete death, including the root system.
Recommendations for the use of the drug Argument
The optimal phase of weed development for processing: perennial grasses - 4 - 5 leaves (10-15 cm), perennial grasses - rosette 10 - 20 cm, annual grasses - when the leaves are at least 5 cm long, annual grasses - 2 - 3 x real leaves.
As a herbicide in the spring
The drug is applied to the fields intended for sowing agricultural crops 2 weeks before sowing in case of mass emergence of weeds at the rate of 2-5 l/ha. On potato crops to combat annual weeds, the drug is used at the rate of 2 l/ha at least 2 days before the emergence of cultivated plants.
As a herbicide in autumn.
The drug is applied at the rate of 2-5 l/ha after harvesting the precursor during massive weed growth. For the effective destruction of weeds, it is necessary to exclude mechanical cultivation of the soil for 2 weeks before and after applying the drug.
As a desiccant
The drug is used for desiccation of sunflower and grain crops with a consumption rate of 3 l/ha. In addition, in global practice, preparations based on the active substance isopropylamine salt of glyphosate are widely used for
desiccation of leguminous crops, rape and seed crops of some vegetable crops.
