White crystalline substance, Well soluble in water.
The plant growth regulator is used to improve the rooting of pears, apples, cherries, plums,
cherries,
peaches, grapevines,
limonov bystom soaking the planting material before planting in the soil in a 0.0005% solution.
Three methods of stimulating cuttings processing are most often used:
- immersion of the lower ends of cuttings in aqueous solutions of stimulants (solutions of low, medium or high concentration are prepared);
(//tractor-service.com)
- immersion of the lower ends of cuttings in alcohol solutions of stimulants (used for processing cuttings of plants that cannot be in water for a long time, as well as for the propagation of rare and valuable plants);
- treatment of the lower ends of cuttings with dry growth powder (a mixture of a growth stimulator with talc or crushed charcoal, usually at the rate of 1-30 mg of the stimulator per 1 g of talc or coal).
Root formation of cuttings is even more enhanced when their lower ends are treated before planting with a mixture of a growth stimulator with vitamin C (ascorbic acid) or vitamin B1 (thiamine). Vitamins also contribute to the faster growth of shoots in rooted cuttings (however, the use of only one vitamin to improve root formation and better growth of shoots in cuttings, without the use of growth stimulants together with vitamins, does not have a positive effect). When preparing water or alcohol solutions of a growth stimulator, when preparing a growth powder, one of the above-mentioned vitamins is added to them, having previously dissolved its powder in a small amount of water. After preparation of the alcoholic solution of the stimulant, vitamin is added to it in concentration: vitamin C - 20-50 mg per 1 ml of 50% alcohol, vitamin B1 - 2-20 mg. When preparing growth powder, dissolved vitamin is added to it from the calculation: vitamin C - 50-100 mg per 1 g of talc or coal, vitamin B1 - 5-10 mg per 1 g.
The aqueous solution is prepared according to the following method. First, a high-concentration mother solution is prepared, and a low-concentration working aqueous solution is prepared from it. To obtain a mother liquor, 1 g of growth regulator is placed in a glass dish and 50 ml of 96% alcohol is added. Growth regulator dissolves without sediment. Then add 950 ml of distilled water. The resulting mother solution is 1 liter of 0.1% concentration, i.e. 1 liter of solution contains 1 g of regulator. Mother solutions are stored in a cool and dark place. To prepare a working solution of the required concentration, it is necessary to take the appropriate amount of mother solution. For example, to obtain 1 liter of working solution with a concentration of 50 mg, it is necessary to take 50 ml of mother solution, since each milliliter of mother solution contains 1 mg of the regulator. Tap water is used to prepare the working solution. This method of preparing working solutions of weak aqueous concentrations has proven itself well in the conditions of production nurseries, as it allows avoiding the daily dissolution of powder preparations of the regulator.
