Korum® - Two-component herbicide for protecting soybeans and
peas from annual and some perennial dicotyledonous and annual grass weeds.
The selective herbicide will keep the field clean even after one treatment thanks to its double strength.
Active ingredients: bentazone (480 g/l) + imazamox (22.4 g/l)
Chemical group d.r.: benzothiadiazinones + imidazolinones
Preparative form: liquid concentrate (LC)
Mechanism of action: contact and systemic.
Manufacturer: BASF
Container: 5 liter canister, price is indicated for 1 liter. 150
Переваги препарату Корум®:
Effective against a wide range of dicotyledonous weeds, including overgrown ones.
Thanks to the surfactant, Metolat is able to quickly penetrate the plant even through a powerful wax coating.
It has a high selectivity for the cultivated crop and, thanks to the soil action, is able to restrain the next waves of weeds.
In most cases, one spraying per season is sufficient.
The presence of a powerful ovoid scab on the face of the bearded vulture interferes with the application of the herbicide to the joint and significantly reduces its effectiveness. Kopum herbicide, thanks to its precise formulation and the addition of the highly effective PAP Metolat, has an improved ability to penetrate the fruit pit, which ensures the effective effect of the herbicide.

Rate of consumption of working fluid: 200–400 l/ha.
Waiting period (days to harvest): not standardized
Compatibility with other drugs: cannot be used in tank mixtures with organophosphorus insecticides and anti-grass herbicides.
Recommendations for use:
Preparations that contain active substances from the group of imidazolinones (such as imazamox, imazapyr and imazetapyr, etc.) are not recommended to be used in the same field more than once every 3 years. At a significant level of clogging of crops with cereal weeds, it may be necessary to apply graminicides. To improve graminicidal activity, Frontier® Optima, 1.0–1.2 l/ha should be used before seedlings.
It is critically important to apply Corum® exclusively with Metolat surfactant in a ratio of 2:1 - for two units of Corum® add one unit of Metolat surfactant. Moreover, surfactant Metolate must be added last to the working solution. The time of application and the rate of use should be chosen depending on the phase of growth of the most malicious or the most common weed. The more weeds outgrow the optimal phase, the higher the rate of Korum® use should be.
If at the time of spraying the weeds (for example, white quinoa) are in the phase of 2–3 pairs of true leaves, then the rate of Corum®, 1.5–1.7 l/ha + surfactant Metolate, 0.75–0.85 l/ha will be sufficient.
If the weed grows and at the time of spraying already has 3–5 pairs of true leaves, you should use Corum® at the rate of 1.8–2.0 l/ha + surfactant Metolate, 0.9–1.0 l/ha.
Benthazone, which is part of Corum®, blocks photosynthesis, so having 4-6 hours of direct sunlight will improve the effectiveness of Corum® herbicide. Only if hard water is used, it should be softened by adding ammonium sulfate at the rate of 2-3 kg/ha.
