Mechanism of action of ZEPAN:
Kresoxim-methyl - according to the FRAC international classification, it belongs to the group of oxidoreductase inhibitors of complex III (FRAC code C3). Inhibits the mitochondrial respiration of fungi by disrupting the activity of the electron transport chain, as a result of which ATP synthesis is blocked. It is an inhibitor of sporulation, spore germination and mycelium growth in susceptible fungi.

After processing, kresoxim-methyl is securely fixed in the waxy layer of the leaf, and being gradually released, maintains for a long period of time the concentration of the active substance in the cells, which is necessary for effective disease control. This process continues for several weeks, which provides an extended period of protection. Kresoxim-methyl is redistributed in the gas phase in a layer of still air adjacent to the surface of the leaf, which ensures coverage of even those areas where the working solution did not get. And it also has the ability to move translaminarly, which allows you to protect the lower side of the leaf.

Epoxyconazole and difenoconazole are systemic active substances belonging to the chemical class of triazoles, the mechanism of action is inhibition of C14-demethylase in the biosynthesis of ergosterol (DMI fungicides FRAC code G1). They have a protective and healing effect in the plant. They have the ability to move along the xylem, protecting, including those parts of the plant that grew already after processing.

Epoxiconazole and difenoconazole differ in the degree of mobility in the plant. Epoxyconazole is a highly mobile compound and actively moves into untreated areas protecting new growth. And difenoconazole moves more slowly, providing protection mainly to those parts of the plant on which the drug came into contact. Such redistribution ensures the proper concentration of active substances in different parts of the plant for reliable disease control.

Features of ZEPAN application:
ZEPAN is used during the growing season by spraying the culture both prophylactically and when signs of disease damage are detected;
ZEPAN has a wide window of application on winter wheat from the beginning of tillering and before flowering, but the best time for application is the flag leaf, before the beginning of the emergence of the ear (VVSN 45-47). At this time, grain crops are very vulnerable to diseases, and the leaf mass is already formed, and even if the plants look healthy from the outside, it is very important to carry out treatment during this period to preserve the photosynthetic surface until the next treatment, which usually occurs during flowering;
the drug affects the physiological processes of the plant by regulating the hormonal balance, activating antioxidant protection, optimizing water exchange and improving nitrogen assimilation. All this ensures the so-called "green effect" and prolongation of the growing season up to 7 days and contributes to a more complete realization of its potential by the culture;
