Rye is the second most important crop after wheat. Its nutritional value is determined by the significant content of proteins rich in essential amino acids for humans, especially lysine, arginine, a large number of easily digestible carbohydrates, as well as very important vitamins (A, B1, B2, B3, B6, PP, C).

How to
germinate grain rye
1. Pour the grains with water, remove the grains that have floated: they will not give sprouts;
2. Thoroughly wash the grains with cold water and then soak them in cold water for 8–10 hours;
3. After soaking, rinse the grains again several times until the water becomes clean;
4. Pour water over the grains so that the water slightly covers them;
5. Wash the grains under running water 3-4 times a day and completely change the water to clean;
6. When 1–2 mm sprouts appear, the grains are ready for use.
Rye grains germinate well in a bright, warm place. Germination is more intensive at night.
Rye sprouts should be used only fresh. The remainder is stored in the home refrigerator, but no more than 2-3 days.
