When transporting bulk goods in winter, the problem of freezing of bulk goods (mineral raw materials) arises. This is associated with increased downtime of wagons during unloading, additional labor costs for unloading and cleaning wagons.
The reagent of the "ALTPROF-A" series can be recommended to prevent freezing of mineral raw materials.
The reagent is a solution with a density of 1.25-1.32 g/cm3, transparent or yellowish, oily to the touch, odorless, non-flammable, non-explosive, hygroscopic, non-toxic, and has antiseptic properties. The absolute viscosity of the solution is 0.62 cPz at 50 °C.
The freezing temperature is minus 35°С.
To prevent freezing of mineral materials to the walls of the wagons, it is recommended to process them before loading them.
To process wagons, it is necessary to have a collector with a sprinkler head - it is lowered into the wagon and the spraying of the reagent is turned on. The consumption of the reagent is 0.4-0.5 dm3/m2 of the inner surface of the wagon or dump truck (preliminary tests are recommended).
In severe cold and with increased raw material humidity (more than 12%), it is recommended to repeat the operation after loading the wagon by spraying in the area of the sides and on the surface of the bulk layer.
Thanks to the complex composition, the melting ability of the reagent increases, which allows you to save time. The increased wetting ability leads to faster and more uniform distribution of the reagent.
The reagent solution of the "ALTPROF-A" series is characterized by low corrosion activity, which does not exceed the activity of tap water.
