Amaranth is an annual herbaceous plant from the Amarant family. Amaranth is translated as "non-fading". Burgundy panicles are equally beautiful in summer and winter. The plant is also called "schirytsia", "cat's or fox's tail", "rooster's combs" and "velvet plant". At the beginning of summer, amaranth blooms. At the top of the stem, in the axils of the leaves, small dense spikelets are formed, which are combined into a complex panicle. Especially long spikes can grow not only vertically, but also hang down. Soft, velvet-like twigs are painted in burgundy, purple, yellow, or greenish shades.
