Mechanism of action:
Fluopicolide begins to act immediately after getting on the surface of the plant.
Motile zoospores stop moving and die. Encysted zoospores or mature sporangia die without forming a germ tube.
Translaminar action: once on the plant, fluopicolide is able to penetrate through the intercellular spaces into the tissue. If the infection occurred recently, it stops the further development of the mycelium.
Systemic action: thanks to the fully systemic substance of propamocarb hydrochloride, long-term protective action and protection of newly formed parts of the plant is ensured.
Stimulating action: like all drugs containing propamocarb hydrochloride, Infinito® has growth stimulatory properties.

Properties:
Infinito® is a 687.5 SC, KS drug that contains the active substance fluopicolide, which belongs to a new chemical class and has a unique mechanism of action on fungi of the Oomycetes class.

The drug destroys the connection of the cell frame and the cell wall, which none of the existing fungicides is capable of. The effect of fluopicolide extends to all stages of pathogen development, including mobile zoospores and both methods of infection — direct (through sporangia) and indirect (through zoospores). It has a translaminar effect, that is, it is able to penetrate tissues, moving through intercellular spaces.

The second active substance — propamocarb hydrochloride — is well known not only as a fungicide with full systemic action, which moves in the plant in ascending and descending directions, but also as a powerful growth stimulator. The presence of two active substances together with a new mechanism of action prevents the emergence of resistance of pathogens to the drug.

Phytophthora of potatoes and tomatoes remains the main danger for these crops. In addition, at the end of the 20th century, a new causative agent of this disease with the so-called A2 type of compatibility appeared in Europe. Over the years, it has spread throughout the potato and tomato growing area and even started crossbreeding with "old" pathogens of the compatibility type A1.

As a result, new isolates appeared, which are characterized by:
earlier infection of plants;
accelerated term of development;
greater aggressiveness;
tendency to severe stem damage;
severe damage to potato tubers by zoospores and zoosporangia that enter the soil from the affected leaves and stems.

A feature of the Infinito fungicide is the prevention and treatment of an actively progressing disease until the infection is completely eradicated as a result of sudden changes in weather conditions. The active substance sharply reduces the development of mycelium, inhibits sporulation. Infinito does not harm the plant and increases its immunity by stimulating the growth of the culture.

Processing is carried out with a prepared solution on the day of use, in accordance with the standards recommended by the manufacturer. Processing begins from the end of the budding-flowering phase throughout the growing season. Processing your crops in dry, windless weather gives you a better chance to get a good result, due to the resistance of the Infinito fungicide against being washed away by precipitation. The interval between the use of the drug is 14 days, in the event of a sudden onset and active development of the infection, the interval between treatments must be shortened to 10 days.
