The parent line will be a group of 8-10 sister families that will provide a drone background, from the US344 (KOM) dam.

US344 (KOM) is an IO dam tested in 2021 and selected from a group of 6 sister families. In my opinion, this is the best steppe I have ever worked with. It consolidates all the qualities inherent in this breed - good spring development, peace-loving at the level of 2-3 puffs of smoke, controlled brooding - during the bribery of the family, the swarm queens themselves gnaw away and switch to honey collection, high honey productivity, good and economical wintering. The average strength of families is 7-8 frames in winter. This is the third generation of controlled mating.
Pedigree US3344 (KOM) =US14 (KOM) xUS278 (MAA).

You can also buy infertile queens and fertile F1 queens.
