Svitanok is one of the best valuableoat varieties on the territory of Ukraine. It can be grown with intensive technology on high agrophones, as well as low and medium ones with standard agricultural technology. It adapts well to biotic and abiotic stress factors, is resistant to diseases and pests, hasgrain with high technological qualities.

The variety was bred by hybridization of the Desnyanskyi, Raiduzhnyi, and Chernihivskyi varieties with subsequent selection.
