Superphosphate enriched with 40% P2O5 is a universal, concentrated phosphorus fertilizer that can be used before sowing, in spring and autumn in all soils and for all crops, including pastures. In addition to phosphorus, its composition also includes calcium and sulfur. The fertilizer is intended for plants that require a good supply of phosphorus, calcium and sulfur, these include: winter and spring rape, barley,
mustard,
cabbage, legumes (alfalfa, clover), as well as other species plants, for example, cereals,
corn, potatoes, beets. The content of calcium and sulfur is also very useful in feeding meadows, because these components improve the quality of forage for ruminants.
Due to its high phosphorus content, it is very suitable for use under plants fertilized with manure, which always has an insufficient amount of phosphorus in relation to potassium.
Unlike simple superphosphate, in double superphosphate phosphorus is represented by calcium dihydrogen phosphate and free phosphoric acid. The processes of absorption of double superphosphate by the soil and absorption by plants are the same as those of simple superphosphate. Double granulated superphosphate is used on all soils for basic and row application and for top dressing.
