Mechanism of action:

Imazamox enters the meristematic tissues or areas of growth through the xylem and phloem, inhibits the synthesis of acetolactate synthase (ALS), an enzyme that participates in the synthesis of essential amino acids: valine, leucine, isoleucine, which are necessary for the synthesis of protein and DNA and cell growth, subsequently protein synthesis is disrupted, which leads to the death of weeds.
