How is the electric fence arranged?
The electric fence is a closed circuit. The electricity passes through the wire to the animal and closes through the long grass, then through the ground to the grounding system back to the generator.
For this, you need:
• Generator to provide current.
• Wire fencing to conduct electricity.
• Isolators for isolating wood or metal poles from contact with the ground.
• An animal that will touch the wire to close the circuit.
• A grounding system that conducts electricity back to the generator.
The electric fence is designed for controlled grazing of cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, and poultry. Animals that graze under the supervision of an electric shepherd do not trample the grass. This contributes to the efficient use and rapid restoration of the pasture.
The electric fence is easy to install. Along the perimeter, wooden, plastic or metal pegs are installed at a distance of 10-20 meters. Insulators are attached to them, on which the wire is wound. The entire circuit is connected to a pulsator generator that runs on a 220/12V battery. The generator emits pulses with breaks of ≈0.7 seconds. If the animal wants to cross the fence, it will receive a weak electric shock. And in the next few seconds, he will have time to move away from the fence and avoid a second blow. After several days of grazing, the animal develops a conditioned reflex of fear of touching the fence. Over time, the frequency of strikes can be reduced. If necessary, the electric shepherd is quickly moved to another place. This is a simple and reliable assistant that will serve you and your animals for years without fail.
