Working with the device:
1. Remove the protective cap from the PH meter electrode.
2. Rinse the PH meter electrode in distilled water.
3. Immerse the electrode in the measured solution.
4. Turn on the PH meter.
5. Wait for the stabilization of the values shown on the device display and count them.
6. Remove the PH meter from the container with the measured solution and thoroughly rinse the working part of the electrode in distilled water.
7. Cover the electrode of the PH meter with a protective cap.
Preparation of calibration solution from powders (fixants):
1. Take a clean, dry container with a volume of at least 250 ml.
2. Open one of the packets with fixanal and pour its contents into this container.
3. Measure 250 ml of high-quality distilled water and pour it into a container with a fixative.(//tractor-service.com)
4. Thoroughly mix the contents (perhaps according to Feng Shui - 77 times) and the calibration solution is ready.
It is necessary to remember that self-made solutions differ from laboratory ones in that they have a much shorter shelf life.
Solutions must be stored in a tightly closed container, maximally excluding exposure to sunlight, at room temperature.

If you notice a dim display of the numbers on the PH meter display, instability of the device's operation, or the screen is completely blacked out, first of all, check the PH meter's batteries. There should be 1.5 Volts on each element. If the power supply does not match, replace the entire set of batteries. For this:
1. Check if the PH meter is turned off.
2. Lift the upper cover of the device (the one on which the switch is located) with your fingernail.
3. Remove the old set of batteries and replace them with a new one.
4. Tightly close the top cover.

Important:
1. It is recommended to carry out all manipulations with the maintenance of the PH meter when the device is switched off.
2. For a longer service life of your PH meter, it is recommended to store the working part of the electrode in a wet state, adding a few drops of a special solution for wet storage of ORP/PH electrodes to the cap.
3. Do not store the electrode in distilled water.
4. Do not touch the measuring part of the electrode with your fingers. In addition to any fat that negatively affects the electrode, a person has his own static voltage, which (in theory) is capable of destroying the electronic circuit of a highly sensitive device. If you did touch or measure fat-containing solutions, thoroughly rinse the electrode in a 50% alcohol solution.
