The variety is characterized by a high potential yield of 115 — 120 t/ha, which is achieved thanks to a large spike (15-18 cm) and a high coefficient of bushiness.

Kalydon has immunity to fungal diseases and to viruses affecting common varieties of wheat.

It is recommended for cultivation in all agricultural zones in Ukraine.
