Functionally, the tool ensures the digging of potato tubers from the soil (effectiveness is achieved due to the use of 3 forged plow knives), cleaning and laying on the surface, which in the future greatly facilitates the manual work of harvesting. The design is simple and reliable in operation, made of durable materials (withstands moderate mechanical obstacles), has a number of advantages.

With the help of transport wheelswheels the processing depth is adjusted and the depth uniformity is controlled, which ensures increased maneuverability of the unit. An innovative improvement isan elongated belt conveyor (130 cm), consisting of metal rods, and the presence of a device for shaking with an elliptical star, which allows initial cleaning of potato tubers from adhering soil and mud. The structural feature of the model also guarantees the stability of the tool and prevents the conveyor belt from shifting from side to side during operation.
