Description of grade NS 40 C/00

The type of development is winter. The bush is upright, the plants are medium in height. The flag leaf has a strong wax coating on the sheath and absent or very weak anthocyanin coloration of the ears. The straw is poorly filled with a strong wax coating on the upper internode and absent or very weak pubescence on the convex surface of the upper node. The ear is white or straw-yellow in color, cylindrical in shape, medium in density and length with a moderate wax coating and awns present. Lower spikelet scale: oval-lanceolate in shape, has a very narrow and elevated shoulder with the presence of a second apex, a tooth with a very significant inflection and medium length. A keel and blunt ears are present on the lower flower scale. The grain is red, short and of medium width, has a short tongue.
