Realization of high productivity of the variety is achieved when grown on high agrophones with intensive technology. Features of the variety: a high positive reaction to a high background of mineral nitrogen nutrition.

• Originator: Breeding and Genetic Institute - National Center for Seed Research and Sorting of NAAS of Ukraine.

Listed in the List of plant varieties promising for cultivation in 2010 in the steppe and forest-steppe zones of Ukraine.

Economic and biological characteristics. High-intensity type of universal use on high and medium agrophones.

It is characterized by high productivity. Over the years of station variety testing, it surpassed the Albatros Odessa variety by 13.5 tons/ha and Kuyalnik by 3.5 tons/ha with an average yield of 72.4 tons/ha. A high level of productivity is ensured by high bushiness (750-800 productive stems per 1 m2), a large ear (50 - 65 m2 of grains in an ear). Genetic potential of the variety -100-110 c/ha.

Vegetation period - 272-284 days. The variety belongs to medium-ripening varieties, is culled and ripens 2-4 days earlier than the Odessa Albatross. Medium-sized type (92 - 104 cm), highly resistant to lying.

It showed a high level of frost resistance (8-9 points) when freezing plants in bundles at temperatures of -16...-18°C (86.8% of live plants). Drought resistance 8-9 points. Well withstood the drought of 2007.

Has field resistance to brown rust (5 points), stem rust (4 points), yellow rust (4 points), powdery mildew (5 points).
Grain quality:

Probation signs:
variety of erythrospermum. The ear is spiny, white, with moderate wax coating, length 95-105 mm, medium density (17-21 spikes per 100 mm of stem). The spines are white, jagged, diverge at an angle of 45°, spike scales are oval, there is a keel. The tooth of the spikelet scale is barely curved, long. The shoulder is straight, broad. The grain is red, oval-shaped, medium-sized.

Agrotechnical requirements:
realization of high productivity is achieved when grown on high agro backgrounds with intensive technology. Features of the variety: the variety is quite homogeneous, reproduced according to the traditional scheme of primary seed production. Showed a high positive reaction to a high background of mineral nitrogen nutrition (increase of 26.5%) and yield stability depending on the timing of sowing.

Special advantages of the variety: it is suitable for cultivation in the arid conditions of the southern steppe of Ukraine, it has high resistance to low temperatures, it is able to withstand a long drought, it is very soft, it responds positively to the improvement of the agro background. info.
