Nitrate nitrogen is directly absorbed by plants, resulting in rapid and predictable growth. It is not volatile, is not adsorbed by soil particles, but is available to plants. The preferred source of nitrogen for most garden and valuable crops. Improves absorption of potassium, calcium and magnesium cations by plants. Calcium improves the strength of cell walls, which leads to improved quality, shelf life and increases the marketable yield of agricultural crops.
Strong cell walls help plants resist disease and insect-borne infections. Calcium improves the structure of the soil, helping to maintain an optimal environment in the root zone of high-yielding crops. Plants become more tolerant to heat stress.
YaraLiva CALCINIT can be mixed with all water-soluble fertilizers, except those containing phosphates or sulfates.
With a lack of calcium, rot appears on the tips of tomato fruits, edge burns in lettuce, internal brown spots in
potatoes. Calcium absorption occurs passively through the transpiration flow, and it is very important that fully water-soluble calcium is available in the root zone when plants need it most.
Advantages and properties of the product:
– no coating, high purity and excellent solubility – safe use without the risk of clogging droppers and sprayers;

- absence of heavy metals and phytotoxic substances: a guarantee of safety for plants and people;
- impact on productivity - fast-acting, nitrate form of nitrogen is absorbed immediately after application;
- high content of directly available calcium - affects the healthy development of the root system, improves the appearance, taste, strength, post-harvest shelf life of flowers and properties of stored vegetables and fruits, reduces their susceptibility to fungal diseases and damage during transportation;
– positive influence on the structure of the substrate and stabilization of the reaction in the root environment.
Recommendations for use:
IN GREENHOUSES 0.05 - 0.5% (0.5-5 kg/1000 l of water)
Application during irrigation.
IN OPEN SOIL 0.1 - 0.2% (1-2 kg/1000 l of water, 100-200 kg/ha)
Applying during irrigation
FOR FIELD CROP 1% solution (2-5 kg/ha)
Foliar nutrition
■ Used in sheltered and open soil for feeding through all irrigation systems.
■ Can be used for foliar feeding.
■ The consumption rate of the working solution is generally accepted for cultures.
■ The quantity and rates of fertilization are specified depending on the agrochemical parameters of the soil, the planned harvest, the technology used, water quality and weather conditions.
