Agricultural products such as hay, straw and other similar "energy" crops serve as ideal raw materials for the production of high-quality biofuel, known as pellets. The demand for such products creates a supply of equipment capable of producing them. If literally a few years ago we were talking about stationary factories with serious equipment and quite significant productivity, then recently the market offers much more mobile solutions. Among them, the undisputed leader is the Metitron 560 model, which has good technical characteristics and a high level of productivity:
• The available range of pellet sizes is 6-12 mm with an average value of 8 mm.
• The capacity of the cooling tank for pellets is about 3 cubic meters. m.

• The overall level of productivity is 6 tons per hour.
• Drive power is 615 horsepower.
At first glance, the characteristics are practically no different from several predecessors, although this is not the case at all. The main distinguishing feature of the Metitron 560 is its complete mobility and autonomy. In essence, this is a
ordinary harvester, in the body of which a factory for the production of granulated pellets is "built-in".
This design of the self-propelled harvester has a number of advantages, as there is no need to use additional equipment to transport the equipment to the field, as was the case with previous models. Even more similarity with a conventional combine is added by the fact that the ready-made granules are transferred from the tank to the machinery moving nearby through a special auger - this is a traditional solution when harvesting
combines cereal crops.
