Ceron 480 SL is a growth regulator to prevent lodging of wheat and barley during ripening and vegetation. Gives rigidity and restrains the growth of the plant stem. The drug is developed on the basis of phosphoric acid derivatives.
Ceron 480 SL stimulates the growth of the root system and inhibits the growth of the stem. The retarding effect occurs due to the accumulation of ethylene, leads to shortening of the stem and thickening of the second and third internodes, straw walls, and an increase in the number of productive stems.

Mechanism of action. Ceron quickly penetrates into the plant and accelerates the biosynthesis of ethylene in plant tissues. Ethylene, in turn, stimulates the synthesis of solid substances (lignin, cellulose). The dynamics of the accumulation of plant biomass, the ratio of straw and grain in the direction of the latter changes.
