Sunflower of the "Zaklyk" type was created by interlineal hybridization using the CMS genetic system (cytoplasmic male sterility) under the condition of complete restoration of pollen fertility.pollen fertility.

According to biological characteristics, the plant belongs to simple mid-ripe hybrids with a duration of the vegetative period of 105-110 days. The advantage of "Zaklyk" sunflowers is their extreme resistance to droughts. Also, this type is distinguished by genetically determined resistance to the 7th most virulent race of the pathogen and the 730th race of powdery mildew.
