Diagnosis and repair rear axletractor MTZ-80, 82

Dismantling of the MTZ-80, 82 rear axle is carried out using the following devices: special clamps, traverses, cranes, manual and electric hoists, which make it possible to correctly remove and install, jack up, disconnect and roll out parts of the tractor.

to remove the cabin (before that, I dismantled the other parts that prevent the removal of the cabin);

will separate the frame of the tractor using a special stand, and with the help of jacks will raise the rear wheels;

will disconnect devices that interact with the rear axle (wheels; gearbox, cardan, etc.)

Dismantling Repair

1. Duringtormoženiya tractor pulls to the side, the increase in the brake pedal stroke is the result of wear of disc linings, violation of the adjustment of the mechanism that controls the brakes.

Check the stroke of the pedals, adjust it, it should be equal to 70-90 mm. (Fig. 2).

2. Traces of grease on the inner rim of the wheel or on the cover of the half-axle sleeve - loss of elastic properties of the half-axle cuff.

The wheel, MTZ wheel hub, and half-axle sleeve cover are removed. (Fig. 3).

3. Knocking and noise in the sleeves of the half-axles of the driving wheels appears due to wear or destruction of the bearings.

Dismantle the wheels, fuel tanks, axle sleeves, remove the hydraulic accumulator, left and right cab bracket with brake valve and pneumatic adapter. Unscrew the fastening bolts, press out the sleeves. Semi-axles are replaced when the seat is worn under bearing 217 up to the size of 84, 95 mm, or with a worn keyway. (Fig. 4).

4. Non-functional locking mechanism of the MTZ-80, 82 differential - due to wear of the discs of the friction clutch and locking shaft, or rupture of the diaphragm.

Remove the clutch cover and casing. If the thickness of the pads of the connecting discs is less than 11.8 mm, they should be changed.

5. If with an increase in the transmitted torque, noise appears and intensifies, there are traces of grease on the back cover, then this means: wear of the splines of the shaft and parts of the planetary gearbox, the cuff has lost its elasticity or is broken.

Remove the power take-off shaft and check its condition: gear teeth, movement of the shaft shank in the bearings. In case of detection of defects in parts, large movements in mating parts and jamming of the shaft, disassemble the PTO, replace defective parts.

When repairing the MTZ-80,82 rear axle, special attention should be paid to the differential.

To disassemble and repair the differential, you need:

loosen and unscrew the bolts (2), fig. 6; (see below);
remove – cover (7), support washer (4), semi-axial gear (5), cross-piece (8) as a whole, second semi-axial gear (5), support washer (4), support washers (3), satellites (6) with cross-piece;
the driving gears of the differential are pressed out of the cups, we remove the bearings from them;
we remove the sealing cuffs from the glasses;
check the technical condition of the differential and details of the final drive (in accordance with the data of the technical documentation);
there should be no defects on the working surfaces of the parts;
parts with defects are restored or they are subject to replacement;
disassembly of the differential case and cover is not allowed;
assembling the differential in the reverse sequence.

The main transmission of the rear axle of the MTZ-80, 82 tractor is a leading gear and a driven gear. The driver is installed on the splined end of the secondary shaft of the gearbox. Vedomaya - is bolted to the flange of the differential case. Repair of the main transmission: restoration of gears or replacement of them with new ones. And also - restoration of the technical parameters of the shaft, and replacement of fastening parts.

If the differential lock clutch of the MTZ-80, 82 tractor is out of order, it is necessary to remove its cover and casing. Covers of connecting discs should be replaced if their thickness is less than 11.8 millimeters.
