ASTRA 3.6V of the new generation has a number of advantages:

- a hopper for seeds and fertilizer with a volume increased by 1.5 times (fat ? 400 dm3,grains ? 600 dm3) ;
- a system of stepless regulation of sowing rates of both seeds and fertilizers;
- grain and fat seeding devices made of polymer material;
-combined coils of grain seeding devices;
-double-disc coulters with offset discs made of steel containing boron.

ASTRA 3.6V is intended for row sowing of grain and leguminous seeds with simultaneous introduction of granular mineral fertilizers into the seeded rows. Equipping seed and fat seeding devices of the seeder with variators ensures smooth regulation of seeding rates and significantly simplifies and shortens the time of preparation for work. The design of the "coulter and rolling roller" unit allows you to adjust the depth of seed placement more precisely, with an interval of 1 cm. On separate order, it is equipped with disk metalrollers for soil compaction SZP 01.000. Disc metal rollers for pressing are assembled in four sections. The sections are hinged to the frame of the seeder with the help of forks. Such connection of roller sections to the frame enables the rollers to copy the relief of the field. The extreme sections of the rollers serve to drive the shafts of seeding devices. The design of the planter is based on the modular principle. With the help of the SP-11G coupling, it is possible to create wide-grip sowing units from three seed drills. The seeders in the unit are connected to each other in a row scheme. Such a connection facilitates loading of seed material and increases productivity. The basic model of the seeder is produced on 4 support-drivewheels.
