Apple trees on seedling rootstock. This rootstock does not reduce the strength of tree growth. Such trees should be planted on infertile soils (they are marked in pink on the attached map). I do not recommend planting such a tree on fertile soil (chernozem) because it will grow too powerfully.

It should be noted that an apple tree should not be planted on a semi-dwarf rootstock on infertile soil, as it forms an insufficiently powerful root system to provide the tree with moisture and nutrients. As a result, the tree grows poorly, gets sick, and does not produce a crop.
