Aviator® Xpro 225 EC
New highly effective fungicide against a complex of diseases on barley and wheat.
Active substance: prothioconazole 150 g/l + bixafen 75 g/l.
Drug form: KE (concentrate that is emulsified).
Properties: Aviator Xpro is specially designed for use on barley to fight against diseases characteristic of it, the main one of which is the causative agent of leaf spots. The drug has the longest protective effect, exceeding several weeks. Aviator Xpro contains the new active substance bixafen from a new class of pyrazolecarboxamides, which opens a new era of active substances for combating the diseases of
grains cultures. Due to two active substances from different chemical groups and with different mechanisms of action, the drug is able to control a wide range of pathogens.
Advantages:
New mechanism of action on the pathogen.
Long-term action.
Increases the photosynthetic activity of plants.
Unsurpassed against leaf spotting.

The maximum effectiveness on barley is achieved with a two-time application: the first application should be in the tillering phase - 0.4 l/ha, and the next - in the phase of the middle of the tuber culture - 0.4 l/ha. In case of rapid development of the disease, it is recommended to use a rate of 0.5 l/ha and a repeated 0.5 l/ha.
For wheat, the drug is best used in the period from the beginning of tillering to the flag leaf.
Fine-droplet spraying with a working fluid flow rate of 100-400 l/ha is recommended for application by field units, depending on its type: for example, flat-jet nozzles are suitable, liquid pressure is 2.5-3 kg/cm2, speed of movement of aggregates is 6-7 km/h.
Aviator Xpro in the recommended rates of consumption is well tolerated by all types of grain crops.
Mechanism of action:
Bixafen - suppresses the germination of mycelium and spores.
Prothioconazole is metabolized in the plant to a more stable compound - prothioconazole-desthio. Effective against a wide range of diseases. It affects the formation of powerful shoots, a well-developed root system, increased bushiness, drought resistance, and grain quality indicators. Doubling the shoot thickness makes the plant more resistant to mechanical damage, and the absence of the mesocotyle, the most vulnerable part of the shoot for insects and pathogenic microorganisms, provides reliable protection of the culture against many types of diseases and harmful insects at the initial stages of its growth.
