The complete pole-type transformer substation KTPS with a capacity of 25-250 kVA is a single dead-end transformer substation of external installation and purpose for receiving electricity of three-phase alternating current with a frequency of 50 Hz, voltage of 6-10 kV, converting it into electricity with a voltage of 0.4 kV, which is intended for power supply of agricultural, industrial and other objects in regions with a moderate climate.
KTPS are assembled on a reinforced concrete support type SV - 105 (SV - 110) in a pole transformer substation. The transformer bracket bears the greatest load, therefore it is made with a large margin of strength from pre-packaged rolled metal: channel No. 8, angle 63.(//tractor-service.com)
Two-pole KTP2S are assembled on two supports of type SV - 105, SV - 110.
Substations are certified to use transformers with a capacity of up to and including 250 kVA. A bracket for installing surge arresters 6-10 kV or overvoltage limiters of the OPN type is attached to the HV input.
