This is a heavy breed, where males and females are equally heavy: for example, the average weight of a goose is 7.5 kg, the maximum is 8 kg. Since the live weight of an average goose is 7 kg, breeding geese of this breed is economically justified.

The level of feed consumption in this breed is 20% lower than in most breeds. Every year, geese lay 25-33 eggs per hour, of which about 65% hatch chicks.
