Grain dryer M-819 was manufactured at the Polish enterprise "Agromet-Rofama". The mine-type dryer with boxes is intended for drying the grain of the maincereal crops, as well ascorn, rice, leguminous seeds and oilseeds.

The grain dryer includes a drying column, a furnace with a flue pipe, and a grain noria. Grain drying begins with loading the dryer column with grain. The trays of the rakes are set to the middle position, the grader and feed noria are turned on, and raw cleaned grain is fed through the grain pipeline to the grain feed noria. Loading is carried out until the sensor of the level of the bunker of the drying column is activated.

Next, turn on the air supply fans and adjust the position of the hot and cold air dampers in accordance with the grain dryer's operating instructions. Turn on the furnace burner, having previously set the drying temperature according to the instructions for operating the dryer, then turn on the column auger, set the valve for switching modes to the "circular" mode, turn on the drive of the rake trays and adjust them according to the instructions for operating the dryer, and dry the grain to the required humidity.

When the required moisture content of the grain is reached, a decision is made to choose a drying method: continuous or portioned.

With the current drying method:

the noria for unloading dried grain into the storage hopper is turned on;
the mode switch valve on the unloading auger switches to the unloading mode;
the unloading auger turns on.
After that, the unloading of dry grain from the dryer begins. Simultaneously with the start of unloading, it is necessary to turn on the system of loading raw grain onto the hopper of the column grain dryer M-819.(//tractor-service.com)

With the batch drying method:

the burner is turned off and the dryer continues to operate without the burner for 15 minutes to cool the furnace;
15 minutes after the burner is turned off, the air supply fans are turned off;
the noria for unloading dried grain into the storage bunker is turned on;
the mode switch valve on the unloading auger switches to the unloading mode;
the unloading auger turns on.
After that, the dry grain is unloaded from the dryer into the storage hopper. The flow method is considered to be more productive, however, with high grain moisture, it is necessary to use a mixed method: flow-portion, i.e. a portion of grain is dried in several drying rounds to the required humidity, then the unloading of dry grain and loading of raw grain are switched on. With this method, no time is lost for unloading a portion of dry grain and for loading a portion of raw grain.

GRAIN DRYER M-819 MINE TYPE WITH BOXES.

The drying column consists of 28 sections, in each of which there are 67 cascades and 6 semi-cascades. In total, there are 1876 cascades and 168 semi-cascades in the dryer. In modern dryers produced by domestic and foreign manufacturers, the number of cascades and semi-cascades is 2-3 times smaller, and the distance between the cascades is also greater. Therefore, in the Polish M-819 grain dryer, the grain is mixed more intensively, blown better, and accordingly, the quality of grain drying is higher.
