Seeder vSET

Brief characteristics:
Reduction of gaps\doubles
Construction reliability
A unique seeding device that will allow you to achieve ideal seeding quality.
Although many still prefer seeders with mechanical seeding devices of the finger type, others are switching to vacuum seeding systems of the vSet type, because they:

They allow sowing a wide variety of seeds of different sizes and shapes;
Different types of seeds are sown by simply changing the disc;
They allow working in a wider range of speeds;
They have lower wear and lower maintenance costs.
Today, the new vSet vacuum seeding system offers users of conventional mechanical seeding devices improved singularity, greater convenience, longer service life and greater flexibility in the use of seeds. This is possible by converting an old mechanical seeder into a modern vacuum type seeder. To install the new vSet system on the existing mechanical seeder, a hydraulic vacuum system is mounted, which provides the vacuum necessary for each section. This system includes a hydraulic motor, an impeller and ducts for each section. Each row of the seeder is equipped with a vacuum seeding device vSet.
Its construction is very simple and reliable. First of all, a durable plastic case, consisting of two parts, which are disconnected manually, without the use of any tools. Inside the case there are elements that ensure high-quality sowing, namely:(//tractor-service.com)
Sowing disc made of polycarbonate alloy, which ensures high wear resistance.Disks are divided into single-row and double-row, depending on the sown crop (corn, sunflower, soy). Changing the disk is also done manually. You just need to remove the fixing pin. The recesses around the holes of the disc provide the removal of dust that can accumulate inside the seeding device. Optional connection of the electric drive system of each vDrive row is possible with the help of a toothed crown.
The five-lobed spring singulator is designed to remove excess grains from the disk and ensures the location of exactly one seed on each hole. It does not require seed size adjustment and maintains constant contact with the disk. You can easily change the singulator to fit different cultures.
A seed extractor with a rolling spring-loaded roller, which contains fragments for plugging holes in the disc. This helps push the seeds out of the disc in case of clogging. It is installed in the desired position and can be quickly changed to match thedisks. The extractor is selected according to the disc (one-row or two-row).
A small vacuum cavity, in combination with a small body, provides a reduction in the need for vacuum, which is accompanied by a higher efficiency of seed release.
The valve at the entrance allows you to control the size of the container for the transfer of seeds of various types of crops.
Disc drive, compatible with existing chain drive systems onseeders John Deere 7000, 7200 and 2000, Kinze 3000, Kinze EdgeVac.
The vSet vacuum seeding system in combination with the 20\20 SeedSense monitor will help you not only to see and control the seeding process on the go, but also to see the difference between sowing with a mechanical and vacuum seeding device. The company Precision Planting conducted a series of experiments to prove the advantages of the vSet system.
The first study was conducted on the basis of a 16-row KINZE planter, in which 8 rows were converted to vSet, and 8 worked with standard finger devices.
Green color. Singulation > 98.5%
Yellow color. Singulation 97-98.5%
Red color. Singulation > 97%

The map on the left shows the results of mechanical miter seeding. You can see a big scatter in the singulation. The map on the right shows the vSet seeding singulation for half of the planter. Using the same seeds and the same speed, planted at the same time, we see much better results. The second study was conducted with a change of the seed fraction on half the field. These maps show how seeding sensitivity can affect singulation. The map on the left shows the singulation of finger miters. You can easily determine the moment of replacing the seeds in the mechanical device. On the map on the right, vSet planted seeds of both types with the same high productivity.
