"Rio Grande" belongs to the varieties for which mechanized cleaning is suitable. The vegetative ripening period is 110-120 days. Planting of plants in the soil is carried out according to the scheme of 50x40 cm, no more than 7-9 bushes per square meter. Moderate step-parenting is required. "Rio Grande" is resistant to heat, the plant feels good even when representatives of other varieties begin to burn in the sun. By providing tomatoes with moderate regular watering and fertilizing, you can get a bountiful harvest of a quality product.

If you store unripe fruits (brown or green), you can keep them until the New Year itself. It has high transportability, which allows growing this variety for sale. The fruit has a slightly elongated plum-like shape, a rich red color, aromatic dense flesh with a slight sourness. Their weight reaches 70-150 g. Suchtomatoes can be consumed fresh, they are ideal for drying and curing. Due to its density, Rio Grande is ideal for cooking adjika, ketchups and tomato paste, as well as for grilling. This variety is also good in canned form.
