A-41 starter motor reducer, 41-19с2А

intended for DT-75 tractors and their modifications, as well as for equipment equipped with an A-41 engine

The starter motor reducer or transmission mechanism (Figure 1) transfers rotation from the starter motor crankshaft to the main A-41 engine crankshaft when it is started. The gear ratio between the two crankshafts is 16.7. The gearbox consists of a friction clutch, a freewheel clutch and a shut-off mechanism.

The 41M-19s2A gearbox is assembled in the housing (item 34), which is attached to the flywheel crankcase flange with three bolts. The case is closed with a cover (item 37), centered by a guide belt relative to the axis of the case. The shaft (pos. 14) rotates in two ball bearings (pos. 15, 40), which are mounted in the housing and in the gearbox cover. The longitudinally displaced shaft is limited by a ball bearing (item 40).

A gear (pos. 12) that is pressed onto a bronze sleeve (pos. 13) rotates freely on the shaft (pos. 14). On the one hand, the longitudinal displacement of the gear is limited by the ring clamped between the end of the shaft and the bearing (pos. 15), and on the other side by the support disk (pos. 10) of the gearbox clutch. Gear drum (RPD) A-41 is made by stamping, from sheet steel. It has four protrusions that fit into the grooves of the driving discs (item 8) of the clutch. Drivendiscs (item 9) clutches with grooves are mounted in the corresponding grooves of the clamps (item 25) of freewheel clutches. The material of the discs is steel 65G. Friction surfaces are polished. The driving and driven discs are located between the support disc (pos. 10) and the pressure disc (pos. 4).

The support disk (item 10) and the freewheel clutch clip are bolted to the hub (item 3), which sits freely on the shaft (item 14). The clip (item 25) is centered relative to the hub (item 3) with two pins (item 7). A thrust bearing (item 5) is mounted in the bore of the hub, through which the axial force is transmitted when the gear shaft clutch and bearing are engaged (item 40). The switch-off mechanism includes two bushings (items 38, 39) that fit together on the screw surface, as well as a handle (item 1).
