D-65 YuMZ crankshafts are usually made monolithically, but sometimes they are constructed from two elements. The main parts of the crankshaft are the main and connecting rod necks. They are all tied to each other. The root neck is larger in size than the connecting rod. Uninterrupted operation of the engine is due to the counterweight of the cheek extension. It balances the piston and connecting rod. The rotation of the crankshaft is carried out thanks to bearings or inserts. The essence of the work of the crankshaft is that it creates a torque from the movement of the piston.
