Method and equipment for cleaning land from heavy metals and radionuclides, oil products, AR Krym
Region:AR Krym (Kerch)
A sapropele-coal and sapropele-organic sorbing recultivant was developed and tested on rock dumps contaminated with heavy metals during the development of a polymetallic deposit using an open method. The sapropel center provides technology for its production and application, supplies sapropel-coal and sapropel-organic recultivants and soil conditioners to restore the MPC of pollutants in the rocks of mountain dumps, man-made disturbed lands, waste territories due to excess concentrations of pollutants. The proposed recultivant cleans the soil from heavy metals and radionuclides, petroleum products and some types of toxic chemicals. The application dose is calculated based on the initial concentration of the pollutant in the soil, the climatic conditions of use, its gross composition and the depth of contamination.
With large volumes of reclamation, it is advisable to produce this type of recultivant from local raw materials. To do this, we carry out search and evaluation works in the vicinity of recultivated lands, develop a technological solution and design the production of recultivator on site from the locally explored raw material base. According to the equipment specification in the project, we supply it and put it into operation.
