The disc harrow consists of two batteries, the front one has "chamomile" discs, the rear one has solid discs, the "Soloha" works well in fields with large harvest residues.
To increase reliability and speed up repairs, both disc harrow batteries are divided into three sections (BGR 4.2), five sections (BGR-6.7), each of which rests on two supports with bearing units, thus, with a grip width of 4.2 m, the battery of discs rests on six bearing units, and with a grip width of 6.7 m on ten, with self-centering spherical roller bearings that have several degrees of protection from dust and dirt get into them.
Sections of disk batteries are assembled on shafts of square section, which makes it impossible to rotate disks, coils between disks and pressure washers.
Discs with a diameter of 710 mm are installed on the harrow, but the main advantage of this disc harrow is the stable cultivation depth. In disk harrows that were previously produced by other factories, the depth of cultivation was set by the angle of attack of the batteries, but when soil moisture and the amount of plant residues on the surface of the field changed, the depth of soil cultivation decreased or, on the contrary, increased, which violated the main agrotechnical requirement - the depth of cultivation. In the "Solokha" disk harrow, the depth of cultivation is also set by the angle of attack of the batteries, but it is additionally limited by the wheel suspension, so even with the maximum angle of attack of the batteries, the harrow will not dig deeper than that set on the wheel suspension, and dry land or a large amount of plant residues will not reduce the depth of cultivation due to a significant load - 130 kg/disk (for example, in BDT - 7 this indicator is 55 kg/disk).
