Urea contains 46.2% nitrogen, which is the highest indicator among solid nitrogen fertilizers. The amide form ensures that urea is not washed out of the soil, which is very important for areas of abundant moisture and areas of irrigated agriculture, which allows
to use urea for feeding crops on all soils of Ukraine. Fertilization of winter wheat, corn and other crops by means of foliar foliar fertilization provides the greatest economic effect.

The application of urea solution, even in high concentrations (3-5%), unlike other nitrogen fertilizers, does not cause burns in plants and helps to increase the protein content in grain.
When applying urea to the soil, it must be wrapped in a timely manner, because nitrogen loss from urea in the form of ammonia can reach 70%. To prevent nitrogen loss, urea is applied at an air temperature of no higher than 20-250C during the day and no lower than 10-120C in the evening.
Foliar top dressing with urea is recommended to be combined with pesticides and microfertilizers in one working solution, which helps to reduce the factors of negative impact on plants of plant protection products and increases the effect of
herbicides and
fungicides.
