Rising gas and diesel oil in recent years dramatically increases the cost of drying and storing grain. Meanwhile, there is fuel, which, in the literal sense of the word, lies under your feet. This is the straw of various grain crops (wheat, rapeseed, soybean, buckwheat, etc.). The use of straw is 6-7 times more efficient than the use of natural gas, and 9-11 times more efficient than diesel fuel.
"BIORESURS UKRAINE" LLC offers a pyrolysis heat generator for drying grain on baled straw, manufactured by the Polish Technical Company.
Fuel: Straw in rolls and bales, without shredding. Humidity - up to 60%. The maximum size of the roll is 1.3x1.8m.
Straw bales are loaded from the side using a
loader or a conveyor. The loading hopper is closed to limit air access during pyrolysis. Under the action of its own weight, the loaded roll of straw, taking into account the speed of pyrolytic burning, moves down, and on specific sections of the track, it undergoes all stages of burning and vacuum pyrolysis.
Advantages over other heat generators:
1. The greatest efficiency of the heat generator is at a fuel humidity of 40-50%. This means that wet biomass can be used for burning without preliminary drying.
2. Use of rolls and bales of straw - no additional costs for grinding.
3. The presence of a heat exchanger in the standard configuration. Thanks to this, the heat agent (air) does not contain combustion products and does not have a harmful effect on the dried material (product).
4. Modular design – the possibility of installing a drying complex of the required capacity.

The model range of heat generators makes it possible to provide heat carrier
grain dryers with a productivity of up to 770 t/day when
drying corn (28% - 14%, drying - cooling mode)
The price is 22,100 euros.
"BIORESURS UKRAINE" LLC is the exclusive representative of the manufacturer in the territory of the former CIS countries, and provides a full range of work when converting grain dryers from gas to straw:
• design of the heat generation area;
• supply of equipment;
• installation and commissioning;
• warranty and post-warranty service.
