Determining the concentration of glucose in the blood is one of the frequently performed biochemical tests in CDL due to the high incidence of diabetes. The glucose oxidase method for measuring glucose inserum blood is recognized today as one of the most accurate quantitative methods for determining glucose.

The Biochem FC-200 hemoglobin analyzer automatically determines glycosylated or glycated hemoglobin in blood serum, along with other biochemical parameters.
