1. Appointment
1.1. SVU-M veterinary table is intended for the operative treatment of domestic animals.
2. Structure and principle of operation.
2.2. The table is a prefabricated structure, consisting of a fixed base, a panel, a lever mechanism, raising and lowering the panel and a hydraulic drive that allows vertical movement of the panel with fixation of the selected height.
2.3. The base of the table is installed on four screw supports, which serve to install the table panel at a level relative to the floor of the operating room.
On one of the supports of the base there is a rotary bracket with a cassette for installing a tray and intended for collecting biological fluids, used material and other waste accompanying the operating cycle
2.4. The table panel consists of a tubular frame with vertical racks, which are part of the lever mechanism for vertical movement of the panel.
The lying surface is made in the form of a tray with low sides and a bottom.
2.5. In order to prevent contact of the animal's body with biological fluids during surgical manipulations, the table is equipped with a removable grid made of stainless steel.
2.6. To drain biological fluids, the panel has a drain pipe with a hose located above the lower tray. The construction of the hose is corrugated, allowing you to change its length.
2.7. At the corners of the main part of the panel there are two swivel brackets for installing a tripod stand. The selected height of the rotating head of the tripod is fixed with the help of a screw clamp. In addition, tubular bars are located under the panel along its long sides, intended for fastening straps that fix the animal's body during operations.
2.8. . The mechanism for raising and lowering the panel is located between the base and the table panel and consists of a system of levers controlled by a hydraulic drive. The support surface of the hydraulic drive is located on a swinging platform, strengthened on the base, and the push rod of the hydraulic drive is fixed on one of the connecting rods connecting the base racks with the vertical racks of the tubular frame of the panel.
2.9. Control of the hydraulic drive is pedal: by repeatedly pressing the right pedal, the panel is raised, by pressing the left pedal once, it is smoothly lowered (to stop the lowering of the panel, just remove your foot from the pedal).
