The vapor barrier film is intended for use in flat roof structures in order to prevent the penetration of moisture on the surface of structures and to improve the airtightness of buildings. Vapor insulation of a flat roof also limits the movement of warm, moist air and improves the thermal insulation of the building. Vapor insulation is necessary for both warm and cold roofs.
The film is used as a vapor barrier layer in roofing systems. It is recommended to use K2 butyl rubber tape for gluing seams.
