Entered into the Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine since 2020.
Direction of use -grain.
The plant is 220-230 cm tall, does not bush, the height of the initial attachment is 85-95 cm.
The beginning is cylindrical, up to 21-23 cm long, the number of rows of grains is 14-16, the core in commodity crops is red. Grain yield 81-82%.
The grain is yellow-orange, tooth-shaped.
Weight of 1000 grains 280-290 g.(//tractor-service.com)
The hybrid is resistant to lodging and damage by major diseases and pests. The average yield in the ecological test of the National Academy of Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences in 9 locations in Ukraine in 2017 was 8.07 t/ha, in 2018 – 7.14 t/ha, and in 2019 – 8.43 t/ha, with a grain moisture content of 18.2; 15.9 and 13.3% respectively by year. In 2018, the maximum yield was recorded at the Institute of Agriculture of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Chabany) - 12.87 t/ha. Its genetic formula is similar to the DN Khortyts hybrid, but it is superior to it in terms of drought resistance and heat resistance, and it is more tolerant to stress caused by herbicides. On average for 2016-2019 hybrid DN Stride exceeded the standard by 0.37 t/ha at close grain moisture.
Cultivation zone – steppe, forest-steppe.
The recommended pre-harvest plant density in the steppe zone is 80, forest-steppe is 90 thousand pieces/ha.
