Design of the SUM-1 alarm:

The simplicity of the design ensures the reliability of the CUM 1 sensor. Structurally, the CUM1 sensor is made in a cast carbolith housing in which a microswitch with a toggle contact is installed. The stem of the microswitch is connected to a metal membrane through a system of levers. In front of the metal membrane, there is also a membrane made of rubber fabric, and the product itself acts on this membrane. Also, a return spring is installed between the metal membrane and the microswitch, the force of which can be changed using the adjusting bolt.
The supply of signal cables and wires is made through a hermetic cable entry, which ensures the degree of protection of the shell of the sensor of bulk materials SUM-1 U2 against the effects of dust and moisture at the IP-65 level.
