Schipper RM160TK (disc-type with hydraulic feed) is intended for processing and disposal by grinding branches, rails, slats, lamellas and other waste wood The shredder transforms raw materials into technological chips. Up to 90% of the received cuttings will be 5...40 mm in size. The size of the chip is basically not adjustable and mainly depends on the type of material that is fed, but if necessary, you can additionally install a hydraulic feed regulator. The detailing machine is capable of cutting branches with a diameter of up to 180 mm, depending on the humidity and type of tree. The resulting wood chips can be used as fuel for pyrolysis and solid fuel boilers with screw feed, fireplaces, furnaces and other heating devices. Wood chips can also be used as a mulching material or fertilizer for plants. With further processing, it is possible to make fuel pellets (granules) or briquettes from wood chips.
An important feature of theshredder RM160TK is the placement of the chipper's input hopper at an angle of 90° to the tractor, which allows it to be used in one hitch with a trailer. Such a location of the bunker will be very convenient for utilities and road services, the work can be carried out without interfering with the traffic flow, near the roadsides.
The working body of the chip cutter is a disk on which two cutting knives are placed, on the opposite sidedisk there are blades on it that create the necessary air flow in order to feed the chips through the discharge nozzle (chip pipe). The departure of the knives is adjustable, which affects the chip fraction. It is important to emphasize that the chip at the output is not calibrated. To feed the raw material to the cutting mechanism, it is equipped with drag rollers that work from the hydraulic system of the chipper and do not depend on the hydraulic system of the tractor. The feed rate is changed by the oil flow regulator. The knives of the chipper are made of Czech Pilana steel, which significantly extends their service life.

The chipper is powered by the tractor's GDP and is mounted on a standard three-point linkage. The minimum required power of the tractor for working with a branch chopper is 70 hp. To connect the tractor to the shredder, we recommend using a T5 class cardan shaft with an overrunning or friction clutch that protects the branch shredder and thetractor from overloading.
The feed mechanism uses its own, independent hydraulic system and will work with any tractor of the appropriate power.(//tractor-service.com)

The chipper is equipped with a discharge nozzle (chip pipe), which allows you to change the direction of the chip flow in two planes and rotates 360˚. It is possible to increase the loading height by lifting the chipper on the hitch using hydraulics.

The input hopper is equipped with a curtain made of transparent PVC material to protect the operator from chips during work. A safety handle is also installed on the hopper, when pressed, the cutter will stop the supply of raw materials.
