BPS-16 sorting hopper - designed for receiving potatoes, onions and table roots from dump trucks with rear unloading, partial separation of soil impurities, separation of fine and (or) seed fractions and loading of tubers into containers or feeding onto loading conveyors.

The basic version of the receiving sorting hopper is equipped with a pre-sorter with a cascade arrangement of sorting rollers equipped with rubber sorting and moving stars.

Equipment for sorting potatoes andvegetables includes in itself:
1. receiving and feeding conveyor.
2. cleaner;
3. pre-sorter;
4. small separating conveyor (option)

A receiving hopper with a soil separator and a pre-sorter separates the incoming potato pile into 3 or 4 fractions:
1. soil, small stones and plant remains;
2. smallpotato (diameter of tubers 18-30 mm);
3. seed potatoes (diameter of tubers 35-60 mm);
4. large (food) potatoes with a tuber diameter of more than 60 mm.
