Technical felt: half-coarse, Dnepropetrovsk region.

Felt is a dense non-woven textile material made of feltedwool, which has a uniquely low thermal conductivity and allows air to pass through quite well. It is usually made in the form of panels that have different thicknesses, depending on the purpose Felt-
- dense, environmentally friendly non-spun material made of pure wool. It is an excellent insulator, heat insulator, sound absorber. Felt does not burn because there is not enough oxygen in the air around us to burn wool. Felt can absorb moisture up to 30% of its own dry weight.
Felt is used in the automotive, petrochemical, steel industry, in the manufacture of equipment, in construction, medicine, in the manufacture of furniture, protective clothing, in the shoe industry, in the manufacture of musical instruments. It is simply impossible to list everything.(//tractor-service.com)
Technical felt is used in mechanical engineering as a heat-insulating material, to protect machine parts from abrasion, to retain lubricatingoils in places of friction, to filter oils, to protect against impacts, as gaskets, polishing material, etc.
