Valve 30h6br. Field of application: the cast-iron valve is used as a shut-off device on pipelines to shut off the flow of clean and technical water, as well as steam. in the chemical industry, the oil and gas complex, municipal services, the cast-iron valve is also used in capital construction, water supply and sewage systems. In comparison with other types of shut-off valves, valves have the following advantages: insignificant hydraulic resistance when the passage is fully open; the absence of turns in the flow of the working medium; the possibility of application for blocking the flow of high-viscosity medium; ease of maintenance; relatively short construction length, the ability to supply the medium in any direction. The disadvantages common to all gate designs should include: impossibility of use for mediums with crystallizing inclusions: a small allowable pressure drop on the gate (compared to valves) low speed of gate actuation; the possibility of obtaining a hydraulic shock at the end of the stroke; the greater the difficulty of repairing the worn sealing surfaces of the shutter during operation.
